Biography

Sarah Wilson, NP-C, was born and raised in Central Illinois. She finished her undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa in Iowa City and then soon after started her nursing career in Peoria, IL in 2013. Sarah graduated as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017 and has been caring for patients in Central Illinois over the past 4 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She recently moved to Gypsum, CO with her husband Alex and their baby boy Maverick. Sarah’s special interests are emergency and urgent care medicine, with an emphasis on wellness and disease prevention through nutrition and physical activity. Sarah values patient-centered care and empowering patients with knowledge through health education.

Sarah loves spending time outdoors with her family enjoying hiking, biking, running, and is an avid skier. She also enjoys yoga, listening to podcasts and reading. Sarah loves exploring all the mountain lifestyle has to offer with her husband and their sweet little boy Maverick.
