Wellness exams are important for anyone at any age.
An annual wellness exam is a once-a-year exam with your provider to review your general health. This could include detection of medical problems, discussing how to prevent illnesses, and improving your overall health. *It can include comprehensive blood tests to check for anemia, infections, certain cancers, kidney/liver function, cholesterol, diabetes, thyroid disease and other common conditions.
Please work with your physician to determine which wellness screenings are right for you. Costs may vary by plan coverage. Out of network visits may also incur additional costs. Some insurance companies require 365 days between wellness visits, others are once per calendar year. Please verify with your insurance provider.
