| Residency: | After completing his undergraduate degree with honors at the University of Missouri, Dr. Emmons earned a master of science and Ph.D. in nuclear engineering from the University of Michigan. He then completed his medical degree, Ph.D. and a two year internal medicine residency at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Emmons completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver. In addition, he is chairman of the Imaging Department at the Parker Adventist Hospital and reads PET/CT scans for the nuclear medicine section of Diversified Radiology at Vail Valley Medical Center. Dr. Emmons specializes in nuclear medicine, emergency radiology and diagnostic radiology and is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Emmons lives in Centennial, Colorado with his wife, Kathy, and enjoys cooking, golfing, traveling and flying his own airplane.
