Biography
Practicing nephrology and internal medicine since 1993, Dr. Cooper joined Colorado Mountain Medical in 2008. She spends her free time playing golf, skiing, cooking and hiking with her dog – Brandi.
Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, Dr. Cooper has won numerous awards for her scholarship, teaching and patient care. Her areas of expertise are Hypertension, Kidney Disease, complex medical problems and end of life care. Her current passion is taking care of patients at the end of their lives. This includes helping with having those ‘”hard” discussions about patients' wishes, hospice care and medical aid in dying.
