Dr. Neilesh Gupta is a board certified radiologist specializing in neuroradiology. He earned his MD at the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn. Dr. Gupta completed his general surgery internship in New York City where he was awarded Most Outstanding Intern and then went on to complete his radiology residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. While there, he served as Chief Resident in his third year of residency. He then decided to travel across the country to pursue a two year neuroradiology fellowship at Stanford University Hospital and Clinics in Palo Alto, CA. While at Stanford University, he also served as an attending and clinical educator at the VA hospital in Palo Alto, where he was able to continue his passion for teaching residents while providing excellent care to the patients.
Throughout his training and education, Dr. Gupta has served on several committees, received several honors and contributed to a multitude of radiology specific publications and presentations.
Dr. Gupta’s clinical interests include advanced brain tumor imaging, perfusion imaging in tumors and stroke as well as volumetric imaging. His non-academic interests include a variety of sports, including tennis, biking and skiing as well as spending time with his family.
