Dr. Brescia is a board certified pediatric cardiologist and pediatrician who joined the Rocky Mountain Pediatric Cardiology team in 2008. He received his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and completed his pediatric residency training in pediatric and adolescent medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Dr. Brescia began his fellowship in pediatric cardiology in 2005 at Baylor College of Medicine. Biography
Dr. Brescia is a board certified pediatric cardiologist and pediatrician who joined the Rocky Mountain Pediatric Cardiology team in 2008. He received his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and completed his pediatric residency training in pediatric and adolescent medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Dr. Brescia began his fellowship in pediatric cardiology in 2005 at Baylor College of Medicine. He also received a master's of public health from the University of Texas School of Public Health - Houston.
Dr. Brescia has lectured nationally and locally on topics such as cardiac arrhythmias in pediatric patients, myocardial infarction in pediatric patients, neuro-developmental outcomes in pediatric patients with congenital heart disease, left ventricular non-compaction (LVNC) and more. He has also authored articles on topics related to pediatric cardiology.
Dr. Brescia enjoys spending time with his wife and children, fly-fishing, hiking and backpacking. He is fluent in Spanish.
