Biography

Sara grew up in Michigan where she enjoyed spending time by the water. She graduated from Regis University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2005 and received her orthopedic manual therapy certification from Oakland University in 2009. Sara has spent most of her career with a focus on orthopedic rehab and is a board certified orthopedic specialist. Sara’s enthusiasm for fitness motivated her to obtain her certified strength and conditioning specialist certification. She enjoys treating a wide variety of patients including post operative patients, chronic injury, and athletic injuries. Through Sara’s experience running Track and Cross County in college she developed a passion for treating running injuries. She specializes in manual therapy and utilizes these skills to help patients work toward their goals and return to their optimal health and level of function. She values the importance of empowering patients with the knowledge and tools they need to get back to doing what they enjoy. Sara’s love for the mountains and outdoors brought her to Vail Valley. In her free time Sara enjoys being active including mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and running.
